What The Boxing Industry Can Learn From The Logan Paul vs KSI Fight.

YouTube superstars Logan Paul and KSI are teaching the boxing industry how to promote a boxing match.

Both Logan and KSI have huge personalities and are willing to do just about anything to entertain the masses and it’s paying off. Combine they have close to 40millions followers.

A few months ago they called each other out and challenge each other to a fight. After weeks of back and forth propaganda and promoting the fight on countless social media platforms, fight day had arrived.

The fight cost fans $10 per stream and the pay off was huge. Millions of fans tuned-in and real winners were both Logan Paul and KSI.

The Boxing industry could learn a few things from these two YouTube Superstars. 1. They must teach or guide their boxers in the art of promoting a fight. 2. They have to get with the times and have more of a social media presence especially their boxers. It’s no longer about who is a better boxer but more just who is a better promoter and that’s where the real money is.

YouTube’s JC The Baby Boomer and His Millennial Fans.

As a Millennial, I tend to get most of my entertainment from media platforms like YouTube. I follow youtube Superstars like Jake Paul and others who are willing to put their lives in the spotlight to entertain millennials like myself.

A few days ago I received a text with a YouTube link from a friend of mine. My friend was both passionate and persistent about me viewing the video.

So I did what any other good friend would do and clicked on the link. The video started with a very interesting intro. Maybe not the freshest or modern intro I have seen but there was something about it that intrigued me.

The host and content creator of the channel is a retired man named JC and he has plenty to say on his videos. His comments are honest, authentic, funny, respectful, and very very entertaining. His videos are about his experience living in Ajijic Mexico and what real life looks like for an expat like himself.

There is no fancy production, music or tours of Ajijic in his videos. But I think that’s what is so entertaining. It’s just a man on his couch speaking his mind, keeping things both honest and respectful. And As a millennial, that’s what makes JC both intriguing and refreshing.

So don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the production because his content is full of rich, raw, and witty information.

Millennials like myself will continue to view his content because his content is truly refreshing to see.

November – The Battle for Democracy

Make no mistake about it, the midterm election will determine the future of this great nation.

The majority of Republicans have proven to put, “party over country,”so it’s up to the rest of us to get out and vote during the midterms this November.

They claim to be “patriots” and yet choose to overlook the fact that a foreign government has and continues to attack our democracy.

They attack free speech by attacking anyone who speaks out against their bigoted ways or lies.

They claim to be for freedom, however, attack people of other religions, people of color, LGBTQ communities or anyone who does not think like them.

Let’s me be clear, this is not who we are. We are better than this. And we can prove to the world this November that we are still the beacon of hope.

That we are still a united nation and that we will not turn our backs on those who need our help.

This November must get out and VOTE!

School Shooting Survivor Emma González Is Leading the New Gun Control Movement

“Every single person up here today, all these people should be home grieving. But instead we are up here standing together because if all our government and president can do is send thoughts and prayers, then it’s time for victims to be the change that we need to see,” an enraged Gonzalez said while reading her speech from the back of her AP Government notes.

The face of the gun control movement is a young Latina woman. Just 12 days ago on Valentine’s Day the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida dealt with a school shooting. But, unlike most school…

Kinetic Kennons Are Breaking Down Perceptions of Mexico

Screen Shot 2018-02-13 at 3.33.34 PM

Meet Hillary and Greg, a millennial couple redefining what it means to live in Mexico.

Hillary and Greg, also known as the Kinetic Kennons, are breaking down the misperceptions we Americans have about our southern neighbor.

In the United States, we think of Mexico as being a desert-like country filled with crime and with Mexican people walking around in ponchos and sombreros.  However, this is not the case. Mexico, like the United States, is a country filled with an abundance of culture and modern amenities.

Thanks to news outlets like “Fox News” and others, the perception of Mexico has become very negative.

Sure, Mexico has crime like any other country. However, many may not know that Mexico is much safer than many cities in the U.S.

The Kennons not only entertain us all with informative and fun daily video uploads, but they also have an important role to play in changing the minds and hearts of people from around the world towards Mexico.

Sadly, a few days ago the Kennons uploaded a video in which they shared that Hillary had been let go from her job. Of course, this changes everything.

The Kennons are not just “living the dream,” as Greg has stated multiple times in his videos. They are also a great example of what it means to be open minded and embracing of other cultures and ways of life.

Their mission is to entertain us by exploring Mexico and giving Mexicans and their culture a platform for the world to see.

This is why is critical that we help the Kennons continue what they are doing. At the moment they are asking viewers and fans to help support their mission by donating to their PATREON page. Even $2 per month can make a big difference and allow them to continue entertaining and educating us all.
